The Welding Fume Assistant is an easy to use exposure assessment tool in MS Access. With the tool exposure to welding fumes from different welding processes can be quantitatively assessed by answering a few questions. In addition the effect of control measures on exposure can be calculated. Fact sheets have been developed to assist in the implementation of risk management measures.

The Welding Fume Assistant was developed by the ECTS and IRAS and funded by the STECR Aladdin program. The tool is freely available on request. If you want to use the tool please send an email to h.kromhout@uu.nl. You will receive a user agreement. After returning the signed agreement you will receive the tool by email.
