Attractive workplaces
The increasing competitiveness for a competent work force within the EU forces employers to rethink how they can attract employees. The definition of Attractive Work is a job that you want to apply for, stay at and that engages its employees.
In the beginning of the 21st century researchers begun to try to establish what makes a company attractive to its employees. This research has resulted in knowledge on how to increase companies’ attractiveness. Out of the research on Attractive Work a method has been developed. The method aims at initiating the process to increase this attractiveness. This is done by figuring out what individual employees believe to be their competences, their motivation for taking employment and staying with a company and also what they believe are the important aspects of their jobs.
